What we’re looking for
Newhaul is looking for experienced Road Transport Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanics with a strong background working on Volvo and/or Mack Titan prime movers. YoYou’re a qualified Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic with an Australian Recognised Trade Certificate and at least two years’ experience working on heavy vehicles or trailers (bonus points if you’ve worked with Volvo or Macks!). You’ll bring strong skills in vehicle inspections, electrical repairs, and compliance standards, and hold a C Class Driver’s Licence (HR preferred).
You’ll need to complete a pre-employment medical and hold a current National Police Clearance (or be willing to obtain one). If you’re ready to take on a role where your expertise keeps us moving, we’d love to hear from you.u’ll bring solid, hands-on experience maintaining and repairing heavy multi-combination trucks in a road transport environment, along with strong skills in fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and major component rebuilds. A recognised Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate is essential, as is a C Class licence, with an HR licence considered a strong advantage.
