Our 3,388 square meter facility is a major milestone in our commitment to regional investment, fleet excellence, and creating meaningful career opportunities in the Mid West.
Purpose-built with safety, efficiency, and employee wellbeing at its core, the workshop is set to become a hub for high-quality fleet maintenance and skilled job creation, and is packed with features that make work safer, smarter, and more rewarding:
· Suspended prime mover pits with adjustable platforms to suit every height
· Built-in bulk lubricant supply to reduce manual handling risks
· Pit covers with safe working load ratings to prevent falls
· Advanced ergonomic equipment to reduce strain and improve safety
· Weather-protected tyre bay for safer handling of tyres and equipment
· Modern amenities designed with employee wellbeing in mind
· Air conditioning units and soundproofed crib rooms for comfort and wellbeing
· Training-ready spaces to support career development
“The construction of the pits has been a game changer for Newhaul and our mechanics,” said Tamarra Saunders, Health and Safety Advisor. “Every element has been designed to reduce risk and support safe, productive work.”
Our workshop opening marks a significant step forward for Geraldton’s logistics infrastructure, strengthening regional capability, and creating new opportunities for employment. For Newhaul, it means more than just better fleet servicing – it marks the creation of more skilled jobs in the Mid West, including over 20 Heavy Diesel Mechanic roles and opportunities in operations, support and leadership.
