Investing in our people: Newhaul celebrates 14 internal promotions in a month

Geraldton, Team, Culture

With continued growth across our operations and services, Newhaul is entering 2026 with strong momentum. This January, we’re proud to celebrate 14 internal promotions across our divisions, reflecting our ongoing investment in developing talent and creating long-term career pathways for our people.

Announced last year, Fenix’s Project 290 represents a forward-thinking chapter for Newhaul: sharpening how we operate, simplifying how we work, and setting the foundations for sustainable growth. The promotions announced in January directly support that direction, with our team stepping into roles that help us move faster, work smarter, and deliver stronger outcomes.

Growth capability from within

These promotions span a range of teams and roles, highlighting the depth of capability within Newhaul, and our commitment to recognising performance, leadership, and potential. Each individual has earned their next step through dedication, impact, and a willingness to continuously learn and evolve.

Internal progression plays a critical role in how we scale sustainably. By promoting from within, we retain valuable knowledge, strengthen team continuity, and empower our people to take on greater responsibility as the business grows. This allows us to move faster, stay aligned with our values, and deliver better outcomes for our customers and partners – all while supporting meaningful career development.

Congratulations to our team

“Our growth as a business is only possible because of the growth of our people. These promotions recognise individuals who consistently live our values, and who are helping to build the capability we need for the future.

 - Andrea, Acting Chief People Officer

  • Brenton, Warren and Ross have been promoted to Fleet Supervisors
  • Shaun, Cameron and Dylan have been promoted to Workshop Superintendents

Newhaul Port Logistics

Our Port team has mirrored the Workshop’s growth by introducing a Port Operations Superintendent, which comes as we continue to build capability for the future.

  • Tom and Kim have been promoted to Port Operations Superintendents
  • Ryan and Rory have been promoted to Port Operations Supervisors
Top L-R: Taj, Harry, Brenton, Warren, Ross, Ryan, Rory. Bottom L-R: Dylan, Shaun, Cameron, Steve, Mat, Kim, Tom

Each promotion represents not just individual achievement, but a collective step forward for Newhaul.
